Tire Removal

Top Shelf Tire Removal
Top Shelf Tire Removal Services for Homes and Businesses
Are old tires piling up behind your garage or scattered across your property? Not sure how to get rid of them the right way? Top Shelf Moving and Junk Removal is here to help with reliable tire removal services. Whether it’s a single spare, a pile of car tires, or a whole field full of tractor and exercise tires, we’ve got it covered. We partner with Tire Reclaim Recycling, which means we can offer discounted disposal rates and ensure every tire is processed the right way.
Abandoned tires aren’t just an eyesore—they can trap rainwater and become mosquito breeding grounds, catch fire easily, and leach harmful chemicals into soil and water over time. That’s why proper disposal matters. By recycling old tires, we help keep waste out of landfills, recover useful materials like rubber and steel, and support a cleaner, safer environment. As one of the Treasure Valley’s trusted junk removal providers, we’re ready when you are—often with same-day availability. Let us take those tires off your hands and make sure they’re handled responsibly.

Just a few...
Old tires have a way of hiding out—stacked behind sheds, buried in barn corners, or half-covered in weeds along fence lines. Whether you forgot about them or inherited someone else’s mess, we’ll track them down and haul them out, no matter where they’re hiding.

...Or 60 Tons!
We removed over 60 tons of old tires from a commercial tire shop in Nampa. Stacked high and packed tight, these tires had built up over time and were no longer safe to store. Our crew cleared them out coordinated proper recycling.
Big Tires? No Problem
We even take the largest of tires—tractor tires, oversized equipment tires, and those giant exercise tires used for flipping. If it’s heavy, awkward, or too big for the landfill, we’ll handle it.

Tire Cleanup for Property Sale
Old tires left scattered around a property can drag down curb appeal and raise red flags for buyers. As part of a larger cleanout project, we remove these tires to help improve the look, safety, and overall value of the property—making it more market-ready and easier to sell.

How Much Does Tire Removal Cost?
Tire removal pricing begins with volume but includes other factors as well. Every quote includes labor, loading, and eco-friendly disposal through our recycling partner, Tire Reclaim Recycling. For smaller quantities, there is a per-tire disposal fee in addition to our standard volume-based pricing. For larger loads or oversized tires, pricing depends on a few factors:
- Ease of access (scattered in a field vs. neatly stacked)
- Cleanliness (tires must be free of mud and debris to be accepted for recycling)
- Size and weight (standard car tires vs. tractor or exercise tires)
- Quantity (we offer bulk pricing for large volumes)

Frequently Asked Questions About Tire Removal
What kinds of tires do you remove?
We remove all types—car, truck, tractor, exercise tires, and even small equipment tires—with or without rims.
Do you charge per tire or by volume?
We do both. Small jobs may have a per-tire fee, while larger loads are priced by how much space the tires take in our truck.
Can you take tires that are still mounted on rims?
Yes! We remove tires on rims too, and we separate them before properly disposing of or recycling each part.
Do tires need to be cleaned before pickup?
We prefer clean tires since they’re easier to recycle—heavy mud or debris may add to the cost or need extra prep.
How many tires can you take at once?
We have trucks and trailers between 18 and 20cy, and we can make as many trips as we need to complete any job.
Do you need tires moved to the curb?
Not at all. Just leave them where they are—behind the shed, stacked in the barn, or by the driveway—and we’ll fetch them.
What are the environmental benefits of tire recycling?
Recycling tires keeps them out of landfills and prevents hazards like fires and mosquito breeding. Recycled material gets turned into rubber mulch, asphalt, and more.
Are there any tires you can’t take?
We accept most tires. If a tire is contaminated with chemicals or poses a cleanup risk, we’ll discuss solutions ahead of time.
How do you safely remove tight or rusted rims?
While we handle the hauling, we leave challenging tasks like prying tires off rusted rims to trained professionals—but we can separate components and sort everything.
Do you offer bulk discount pricing?
Yes—larger jobs often mean better rates. The more tires you’ve got, the more cost-effective it becomes.
Can you remove tires from inside a barn or shed?
Absolutely. Whether they’re hidden under equipment or buried in the back corner, we’ll track them down and haul them out.
Will removing tires increase my property’s curb appeal?
Definitely. Clearing out tires enhances appearance, removes pests, and removes obstacles for landscaping or yard work.
How long does pickup usually take?
Small jobs are often done in under an hour; larger cleanups depend on quantity and access, but we aim to clean out quickly and efficiently.
Do I need to be present for pickup?
As long as access is clear and payment is arranged ahead, we can do the job without you present.
Can you schedule pickup on weekends?
Yes, we offer weekday and weekend slots—just let us know what works best for your schedule.
